Abstract
The Genetic Improvement (GI) Workshop at GECCO this year was an event in itself. It had it's own keynote delivered by Wolfgang Banzhaf, followed by a mixture of long and short papers, and finished with best paper awards just before closing. From 10:40am to 6pm, one of the three largest workshops at GECCO covered bug-fixing, energy optimisation, new operators and landscape analysis.
