Abstract:

Gramamtical Evolution is a grammar driven system which uses a genotype to phenotype mapping to binary strings into high complex structures, which are specified by the use of a grammar. This tutorial introduces Grammatical Evolution and discusses some of its main features, including the phenotypic effects and its ability to behave like other evolutionary algorithms.
