abstract = "Boolean functions are widely used in cryptography. The
construction of Boolean functions with good
cryptographic properties is essential to ensure the
security and efficiency of cryptographic systems used
today. Different methods and algorithms for designing
Boolean functions with good cryptographic properties
are reported in the literature. This paper presents a
general description of metaheuristic techniques,
specifically the Hill Climbing and Simulated Annealing
methods, the modern mathematical principles used in the
problem of searching for Boolean functions with high
nonlinearity and low autocorrelation are presented, In
addition to other cryptographic properties necessary
for its application in symmetric cryptography, some of
the advantages of using R programming in modern
optimization issues are also analyzed in a general way,
as well as some of the optimization packages used for
the implementation of metaheuristic algorithms. The
objective of this work is to present a method for the
construction of Boolean functions and their
implementation in R.",
