abstract = "In this paper the model of an evolutionary transport
system is introduced. In the concept, planning,
optimisation and realization phases are joint into
intelligent transport vehicles capable of efficient
adaptation to a dynamic production environment. The
genetic algorithm method is used. In this research the
transport system is represented as a weighted complete
graph, where the vertices represent machine tools and
weights of the edges represent the production
environment circumstances (e.g. length of supply paths,
number of loads and obstacles). Weights of the edges
can change with regard to production circumstances and
they influence the fitness function value and thus
determine the quality of the solutions. The research
clearly shows that the genetic algorithm method is a
successful optimization tool for modelling dynamic
system.",
