abstract = "This study deals with the modeling of computational
morphogenesis using production rule. The group of the
production rule that decides the next proliferation
from the previous one is expressed by the rule-matrix.
By iterating the rule-matrix, a rule-tree and a
corresponding geometrical configuration are
investigated. Finally, various geometrical patterns of
configuration are obtained by the rule-matrix. We have
proposed a procedure for designing a rule-matrix from a
geometrical configuration as an inverse problem with
Genetic Programming (GP). The numerical simulations
have indicated that the production rules we propose in
this study have a possibility for designing geometrical
configurations.",
