abstract = "The cross linking effect of unmercerised and
mercerised cotton cellulose crosslinked with different
BTCA mass fractions in the impregnation bath has been
investigated. Crosslinking efficiency has been analysed
using FT-IR spectroscopy, water retention capacity
method, tensiometry and the methylene blue method. In a
previous paper \cite{Sauperl:2006:MRI}, genetic
programming method was used and different prediction
models for cross linking efficiency have been developed
based on the experimental data which were obtained with
the separate physical-chemical methods. Here we compare
the results with various models obtained by the least
squares method and discuss the results.",
